We are looking for an experienced developer to create a simulation of market data latency using the NinjaTrader DLL interface and External Data Feed function. This simulation will be used to test different trading strategies under varying network conditions.

Project Requirements:

    Integration with NinjaTrader:
        Utilize the NinjaTrader DLL interface and External Data Feed function as outlined in the NinjaTrader Help Guide:

    Market Data Source:
        Use the IQFeed developer API to pull real-time market data. (Credentials will be provided)
        Store the retrieved market data for a configurable amount of time.

    Simulation of Latency:
        Develop functionality to introduce varying network latencies to the market data before it is sent to NinjaTrader via the external data feed.
        Ensure that the latency can be configured and adjusted to simulate different network conditions.

    Testing and Validation:
        Validate the integration and functionality of the system to ensure accurate simulation of market data latency.
        Provide comprehensive testing to ensure the stability and reliability of the system.

Skills Required:

    Strong experience with NinjaTrader 8 and its DLL interface.

    Proficiency in working with external data feeds.

    Familiarity with the IQFeed API and market data retrieval.

    Experience in software development, particularly with C# or similar languages.

    Knowledge of network latency and its impact on trading strategies.

    Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Deliverables:

Fully functional software that integrates with NinjaTrader 8 using the DLL interface and external data feed.

Ability to simulate varying network latencies for testing trading strategies.

Detailed documentation on the setup, configuration, and usage of the software.
