Estuary, a cutting-edge Data Operations platform, is seeking a skilled Web Developer with expertise in Gatsby and React for our Marketing Site team.

As a contractor with Estuary, you will play a vital role in building and maintaining our website, ensuring it is both functional and visually appealing with the goal of increasing lead generation.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on the next generation of real-time data integration solutions and contribute to a dynamic and forward-thinking team.

Responsibilities:
Be the primary engineer for Estuary’s marketing site.
You’ll work closely with our marketing and design people.
Implement new features, improve SEO scores, and increase performance.
Ability to work off Figma designs and open ended requirements.
Assist non-technical staff as needed. Example: updating content in the CMS.

Experience:
You have worked as a frontend developer (or fullstack with like 70% of time on the front end)

You have worked on a team where you are close to marketing and design. Your main job will be writing code – but that is not all we are looking for.

It would be great if you have had experience in a startup before.

Qualifications:
Have a deep understanding of:
TypeScript
React and JSX
SEO
Web performance

Be generally familiar with:
Gatsby and static site generators in general
Responsive design and building responsive sites
Building sites/apps with a CMS
CI/CD and GitHub Actions

Bonuses:
Experience with Next.js (possible plans to migrate)
Experience with Firebase (our current deployment)
Experience with Strapi (our current CMS)

Hourly Range: $25.00-$35.00
