This will be equally used as a Cellphone App for iPhone and Android, as well as on a website by laptop/desktop. So I’m needing both formats built out—a phone app (compatible & eligible for approval for both iPhone and Android) and a very appealing and well built website.
We can start with one or the other initially and create the other at a later time—for budget reasons, if necessary. However, would prefer to release both simultaneously.
This will be like a simplified NeoPets.com or a better version of PowerPets.com mixed with the phone app Hero Wars. Please thoroughly check out NeoPets.com and PowerPets.com and download Hero Wars. The phone app will be VERY similar to Hero Wars in features and game play—but with the innocence and cutesy look of NeoPets. Instead of evil and dark creatures (like Hero Wars) it will be colorful, sweet, happy characters like Fairy’s and other similar things.
All characters will be custom created and thought up by you, your team, myself, and my team. Every character (called Pets) and every item should be fully custom and unique.
Looking for smooth, crisp, clean images for every graphic. Pets, items, game images, etc. Vibrant, colorful, and visually appealing to all ages and demographics.
Functionally it will need the Pets; which are the primary focus of the games. Users will create or adopt these Pets, and then train, grow and teach them. Both by school and by feeding them and using on them specific items. For example: A user may purchase a Strength Potion from the Potion Shoppe and give/feed it to their Pet and it increases the Pets Strength by 5 Strength Points or they may get a Training Stone by completing tasks/quests, or playing games, or buying it from a World Shoppe or User Shop (every user will be able to open their own Shop and sell items in it, to make a profit, or list items as Unbuyable to simply display them to other users—such as a Gallery for Rare Items) and then the user would use the Training Stone at the Training School to have their Pet trained 1 Point in Strength, Health, Speed, Armor, etc. which would take 30 minutes or so to become completed.
There will be an in-game currency system called NP’s (NetPoints); which is what users will use to buy items, grow their shops, buy iBoards, and pretty much every other aspect of the game will revolve around NP’s.
There will be a Battle Arena for users to battle their pet against other users’ pets. The pet stats will be a huge part of the game. As users will want to achieve Top Pet status. So all stats should be recorded and top pets listed on a Top Pets chart. Top Pets will be the top overall pets; then there should be sub-charts such as Top Strength, Top Health, Top Armor, Top Level, etc.
Being on Top Lists in general will be important on this game. User Shops will have levels. Each level allowing them to fit 5 additional items inside the shop—but also there will be sections broken down into Top Shops. For example: the map will have clickable “Stores”: which will lead you to 10 or 15 (25 max) shops. The biggest, most noticeable “Store” will house the top 10/15/25 User Shops. The second most noticeable will house the next 10/15/25 biggest shops, etc. So that a User can achieve “Biggest Shop” if they work hard enough or spend enough money to do so.
There will also be a iBoard section. Which allows users to spend their NP’s on renting an iBoard which is essentially just an advertisement that appears on the iBoard page. It will last a day, and up to a week depending on the one purchased. The more NP’s they spend, the higher on the list their ad will be. Obviously the Highest Paid Ad will appear at the very top and earn the most views. The user can advertise whatever they want (as long as it isn’t violating our Terms and Conditions or isn’t obscene). They can advertise their pet, their shop, use HTML, images, words, etc.
User profiles will be important and will also display awards and trophies. Which users will earn or purchase (with real money). It will also display their account age (every month until 1 year old—then every 6 months thereafter). Obviously being one of the First Users will equate to bragging rights eventually. They will also earn awards and trophies in their profile by successfully achieving certain goals, completing specific quests, winning 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th on our games, becoming the Biggest Shop, Richest User, Top Pet (1-5), etc.
There will be an Elite Shoppe which is where users will be able to spend real money on upgrades, VERY rare items, special things for their pets, and various other Elite Level Upgrades. Including a No Ads option.
Ads will be placed strategically throughout the games—but not obsessively so.
There should be User to User Messaging. Friends Lists. Block Lists. A chat forum. A Search Engine (to search for items, users, pets, etc.).
There will be Questions, Missions, etc. which will require users to do specific things or buy certain items (either from World Shoppes or User Shops—wherever they find it the cheapest).
There should be a very advanced BACKEND for staff to perform their duties. There will be varying roles. Moderators will simply be able to remove chat posts, mute users, warn users, and suspend users for up to 72 hours. Admin will have much broader powers—being able to read messages between users, freeze accounts, see what items are in their accounts, delete iBoards, clear profile and pet descriptions and then you will have Senior Admins which will also be able to add and subtract NP’s from both their On-Hand balance, bank balance and shop balance—give/take items from on-hand, shop and safety deposit box—ban IP address—and increase/decrease all pet stats.
ALL items and points being transferred between accounts should create a log of such for at least 90 days. All deleted messages should be retained for 90 days. All pets being abandoned and adopted should be logged for 90 days. All completed Auctions & Trades should be recorded for 90 days. Etc. So hacking, fraud, and scamming can be properly investigated.
There should be an “auction” to auction of items. As well as an iTrade which is single or grouped items (up to 10 items) that you want to either trade for other items or for NP’s. People will then make offers. The seller can accept or decline each offer accordingly.
There needs to be games. Games will reward the users with NP’s, items, and awards/trophies. There should also be a Top List for highest scores for each game. Games should be able to be easily played on the cell phone app or the website version. So games like Solitaire, Snake, Match the Item, mah-jongg, etc. Basically like all these other cheap games you’re seeing on all these App Store games currently.
Other ideas and suggestions are welcome and appreciated as we are looking to create a hugely successful game—for all ages, races, and demographics. The goal audience is WELL over 1,000,000 users.
There will need to be at least 5-10 different “pets” to choose from at release, as well as at LEAST 100-250 “items”. All should be uniform in size and style. Look GREAT and fit nicely on the mobile apps, too. When viewing shops, on-hand items, safety deposit box, Elite Shoppe, etc. it should be rows of 4 or 5 across, max. So they’re big enough to clearly see and click.
This will be a fairly expensive game to create. Therefore, we are looking for teams that can work with us on payment. Either by accepting a legal percentage/share of ownership (and thereby indefinite revenue) or a payment plan.
We are a startup company—formed from a team of people who used to work for or play the 3 listed reference sites and fully understand the potential for a LOT of money here. We just need someone who will help us achieve this and either share the profits, or accept payments accordingly.
