Seeking a programmer with experience creating video games with online functionality. Steam exclusive online play is acceptable, but knowledge implementing online for consoles is welcome too. The preferred engine is Game Maker Studio, as it is used by another programmer I work with. But I’m open to working with other engines as well.

The Game:
1. This project is an online, Co-op, PvE, deck builder, with a focus on fantasy, and luck mechanics such as; dice rolls, coin flips, and the luck of the draw.
2. I am aware true randomness isn’t possible, so you will need to know how to fake randomness with, for example, using a computer’s internal clock or by other creative ways.
3. This game plays similarly to Slay the Spire, Darkest Dungeon, and Dicey Dungeon.
4. I will get assets for you to use in the form of art and music.
5. Here is a VERY detailed outline of the game: https://docs.google.com/document/d/165nw4b7RlmSD1fo3wEDCQG4oVUQh-9ohZizYZgfixco/edit?usp=sharing

Note: I have created the game in its entirety in Table Top Simulator. If you have Table Top Sim and would like to try it, feel free to ask. Or I can show you game play myself.

Pay: Pay may be low until a playable demo is released, let me know your limit. After the demo is made, (Demo contents will be listed in the paragraph below) a Kickstarter will be made and the funds gained from it will determine your pay for the rest of the project. The goal is to get you enough to make 40 an hour, but please realize there will be some luck involved so you may make less. Once the game is released you will hopefully be making at least 35 – 40. A benefit that will hopefully offset the low starting pay is that you can choose your own hours!

Demo Contents:
1. 2 – 4 playable characters/classes.
2. Online functionality. Inviting steam friends.
3. 1 floor which includes: 3 rooms / fights, 4 or 8 enemies, 1 Shop, and 1 or 2 bosses

Final Words:
1. Remember to check out the Google doc link if you missed it: https://docs.google.com/document/d/165nw4b7RlmSD1fo3wEDCQG4oVUQh-9ohZizYZgfixco/edit?usp=sharing
2. Thank you so much for reading till the end! I look forward to working with you!
