Cloud Backend Developer
Requirements:
• Degree in Computer Science, Statistics or relevant field;
• Strong project management and organizational skills;
• Proven experience with Node.JS;
• Experience developing on AWS;
• Expertise in AWS SDK for JavaScript (Node.JS);
• Experience with AWS services such as CloudFormation, Lambda, EC2, VPC, S3, DynamoDB, RDS,
SNS, SQS, Route53;
• Familiarity relational databases such as MySQL;
• Desired AWS Certifications;
• AWS Certified Developer – Associate;
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate;
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills;
• Great attention to detail;
• Organizational skills;
• An analytical mind.
Requirements (other)
• Experience developing with JavaScript is a requirement. Experience with Python is an advantage.
• Experience with AWS cloud environment.
• Experience with the design and implementation of cloud architectures.
• Experience working with Git.
• Experience with infrastructure as code, such as CloudFormation or Terraform, is a
advantage.
• Familiar with cloud security best practices, including configuring VPCs,
networks and subnets.
• Comfortable with writing clean code and maintaining an internal reference architecture.
• Familiar with agile methodologies.
• Experience in unit testing and end-to-end testing will be highly valued.
• Have an automation mindset, always seeking to automate processes.
• Ability to understand stakeholder requirements and present solutions.
Deliverables:
• Development and implementation of the backend of applications in the Cloud;
• Development of REST APIs and ensuring integration with REST APIs from other suppliers;
• Ensure quality parameters in testing and delivery;
• Ensure code versioning;
• Ensure the use of good practices and tools with added value.

Hourly Range: $16.00-$35.00
