Looking to clone a URL link rotator / splitting app, similar to this one: linksplit.io or https://linklyhq.com/blog/link-rotators.

Linksplit or Linkly.

Here is a description of the app: ‘Create shareable, shortened URLs that direct traffic to two or more possible destinations. Users visiting this link will be equally split between the possible destinations, allowing you to A/B test the effectiveness of each variation via your analytics platform.’

Users will need to be able to link a subdomain to the platform, then have the ability to create subdomain links.

To connect a custom domain, would have to follow these steps:

– On customers domain registrar, they would create a subdomain for their links, like link.company.com.

– Create a CNAME record in their DNS pointing this subdomain to cname.linksplit.io

– Wait a few hours during the DNS propagation (up to 48 hours)

– When your subdomain social.mycompany.com redirects to linksplit.io that means it works!

When domain is setup, they will have the option to create a link URL that links to their subdomain. They will have the option to add multiple URLs to split the traffic to. They will have the option to set different weights/percentages of traffic to each URL. Please mention your favorite fruit when applying. See image as an example.

Looking forward to speaking to you.
