External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar thanked Chile for supporting India’s bid for a permanent membership at the United Nations Security Council. Jaishankar met his Chilean counterpart Alberto Van Klaveren in Delhi on August 28, and expressed India’s gratitude for Chile’s support. Notably, China is the only one of the five UNSC members that has not supported India’s UNSC aspirations. Watch this video for more information.
