Designed to operate in the UHF frequency band, the YLC-8B is optimized to identify stealth platforms that are primarily engineered to evade conventional X-band targeting radars. With reported detection ranges of up to 700 kilometers, the system could significantly expand Iran’s early-warning architecture and extend reaction timelines in the event of aerial operations.
