adminI am looking to develop a software that transfers very large video files(1 to 2 TB memory cards) and runs a checksum on the files simultaneously. The checksum verifies all the files were transferred correctly and then creates a text file highlighting the time, file sizes, and completion of transfers, etc, and puts them in a folder with the transferred files. The software would also do this to multiple "destination drives" simultaneously and not limit transfer speed very much hopefully! Ideally it would also fun the checksums while doing the transfers as well, although I am open to other options. Should also have drag and drop ease and ability to set destination folders and/or automated folder numbering etc. There are several softwares that already do this, this software is going to be tailored a bit more for video specifically and have a different sales structure. Software would also need to have some type of activation key system that is single use and a way of verifying that. I’ve included a screen shot on one of the programs already in existence. just to show how simple it is. Looking at quotes to create the software and also be lead software engineer going forward on a contract basis, maybe that turns into a more full time thing at somepoint if we find much success. Let me know if you have any questions and what you think it would cost to create such a software. I am self financing so so conservative quotes are greatly appreciated, and also willing to do profit sharing of some kind. Please let me know! Thanks!
