I’m looking to build a device where I can chat with a personal ai assistant. Kinda like "siri" or "alexa". But more towards the ChatGPT language model, with ElevenLab voices.

Something like https://voxta.ai/ but on a portable device. Hopefully use some  microcontroller (arduino, raspberry, jetson, esp32). Device must have audio input and output. Portable, smaller than mobile phone.

I see a lot of similar projects on youtube,

& posts on reddit, but havent seen an actual physical device implemented.

Anyone know of other solutions? Got other recommendations?
Someone suggested to use ESP32 and ChatGPT API.
i prefer not to use chatgpt because its censored. What are the other options?

If you are able to do light weight version such as whats on youtube, my budget can be in the $50-$200 range. Theres already many existing projects. If you can do this small one, then maybe can continue with additional projects.

If we are able to build something more customized, then maybe I can do $500-$2000+ range. This would involve touch sensors, face detection, etc.
