India’s High Commissioner to Canada, Dinesh Patnaik, has outlined a major reset in India-Canada relations ahead of Prime Minister Mark Carney’s visit. Since then, both countries have intensified diplomatic engagement, with multiple high-level visits and the reappointment of High Commissioners to restore momentum.
