How It Works:
Step 1: Create Your Listing
Visit the Tailwind Trades website: Go to the Tailwind Trades website and sign in to your account if you have one. If you’re a new user, sign up for an account.
Start your listing: Click on the "List Your Home" or "Create Listing" button to begin the process.
Introduce Yourself: Provide a brief introduction about yourself, your family, and any other potential co-hosts. Highlight your interests and hobbies, and mention your favorite travel destinations.
Promote Your Home with Pictures: Upload high-quality pictures of your home. Showcase different rooms, amenities, and any unique features that make your home stand out.
Calendar Availability: Use the calendar tool to specify when your home is available for exchanges. Make sure to keep it up-to-date.
Step 2: Send Exchange Requests
Explore Destinations: Use the search function on Tailwind Trades to find homes in destinations that interest you. Browse through available listings.
Send Personalized Messages: When you find a home you’re interested in, send a personalized message to the host introducing yourself, explaining your interest in their home, and proposing an exchange.
Respond to Requests: Monitor your inbox for messages from other members who are interested in your home. Respond to their messages promptly.
Communicate through Messaging: Use the Tailwind Trades messaging system to discuss the details of your exchange with the host. This includes travel dates, expectations, and any special requirements.
Step 3: Become a Member and Finalize Your Exchange
Pre-Approval by Host: Once you and the host have agreed on the terms and details of the exchange, the host must pre-approve the exchange request. This indicates their willingness to proceed.
Membership: If you are not already a Member, sign up for a Tailwind Trades Membership. This membership costs $220 for a year and allows you to enjoy unlimited exchanges.

*REQUIRED SKILLS: Strong sense of design, it has to be responsive, accessibility compliant, and to ensure that website is secure. Need a person or small team to do back-end programming and well verse with Squarespace. We are open to your feedback on what platform to use.
*The web development team will work closely with one of the co-founders to assist with the design and development of the website.
*This is a part time ongoing project because there will be added destinations eventually, tweaking of certain or adding new functionality on the website.
