We are building a web app for service businesses and require custom API workflows built that read, write and manipulate information from Retool database. All the workflows and database will be built in Retool. Experience in building APIs in Retool is a asset.

Job Responsibilities:

Design and Develop APIs:

Design, develop, and implement robust APIs that enable seamless communication between our databases and third-party applications.
Ensure API functionality meets business requirements and industry best practices.
Collaborate with Cross-functional Teams:

Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into effective API solutions.
Collaborate with front-end and back-end developers to integrate APIs into existing systems.
Security and Performance:

Implement security measures to safeguard data exchange through APIs.
Conduct thorough testing and optimization to ensure the security, reliability, and performance of APIs.
Issue Resolution:

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to API functionality, data exchange, and integration with third-party applications.
Stay Updated on Best Practices:

Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in API development.
Continuously improve API development processes based on new insights and technologies.
Documentation:

Create comprehensive documentation for APIs, including technical specifications and usage guidelines.
Keep API documentation up-to-date as changes and improvements are made.

Hourly Range: $10.00-$20.00
