We are seeking an experienced Integration Developer with expertise in Toast API. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in building between Toast API and our Azure SQL database. The primary responsibility will be to ensure seamless and efficient extraction of daily transactions from all our stores and populate the data into our centralized Azure SQL database.

1. **Toast API Integration:**
   – Design, develop, and implement a secure and scalable integration solution between Toast API and Azure SQL database.
   – Leverage existing Toast API functionalities to fetch and synchronize daily transactions from all stores.

2. **Data Extraction and Transformation:**
   – Create mechanisms to extract relevant data from Toast API endpoints, ensuring accurate and complete capture of daily transactions.
   – Implement data transformation processes to align Toast API data with the structure of the Azure SQL database.

3. **Database Integration:**
   – Establish and maintain a connection between the integration layer and Azure SQL database, optimizing performance and reliability.
   – Implement error handling mechanisms to address any data synchronization issues and ensure data integrity.

4. **Performance Optimization:**
   – Monitor and optimize the integration process for efficiency, taking into consideration data volume and API usage constraints.
   – Conduct regular performance assessments and implement improvements to enhance the overall integration speed and reliability.

5. **Security and Compliance:**
   – Implement security best practices to safeguard sensitive data during transmission and storage.
   – Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and industry standards in the integration processes.

**Qualifications:**

– Proven experience in developing and implementing Toast API integrations.
– Strong proficiency in SQL, with specific expertise in working with Azure SQL databases.
– Solid understanding of data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
– Familiarity with API authentication mechanisms and best practices.
– Experience in performance optimization and troubleshooting of integrations.
– Knowledge of security protocols and compliance standards related to data integration.

**Preferred Skills:**

– Prior experience working in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
– Familiarity with other POS systems and their APIs.

Hourly Range: $15.00-$35.00
