"Comedy Pays" is a mobile application designed to celebrate humor through user engagement, allowing users to express their enjoyment of content with a thumbs up, engage in conversations via comments, learn more about content creators, and share their favorite posts with friends. The app features two main feeds: one displaying all comedic entries and another exclusively for winning entries, fostering a competitive yet fun environment for creators and viewers alike.

1. User Interface (UI)

1.1 Home Screen
– Feed Display: Users encounter a vertically scrollable feed of comedy skits upon entering the app. Each skit appears in a card format, featuring a title, and a thumbnail image or video preview.
– Feed Toggle: Users have the ability to switch between two feeds:
  – All: Shows all comedic content uploaded to the app.
  – Winners: Dedicated to displaying skits that have won competitions or been recognized based on community votes or a panel of judges.
– User Interaction Options:
  – Thumbs Up: Users can express their appreciation for a skit with a thumbs up icon. Unlike previous versions, the option to give a thumbs down has been removed to foster a positive and supportive environment.
  – Comments: A comment icon invites users to read and leave comments on skits, facilitating community interaction.
  – Creator Profile: Clicking on the creator’s image opens a profile page, where users can learn more about the creator, including their bio, other posts, and follower count.
  – Share: A share icon enables users to share skits with friends via different platforms.
– Flag: Users can flag videos that are inappropriate of violate copyright

1.2 Post Button
– Positioned centrally on the bottom navigation bar for easy access.
– Pressing this button launches a submission form where users can upload their comedy content, either by recording directly through the app using their camera or uploading a file from their phone.
– Content Release: Users are required to fill out a digital release form during the upload process, authorizing the app to display and distribute their content.
– Users can post up 90 second videos

– About: Provides information about the app, including its mission and how it operates.
– Rules: Describes the community standards and guidelines for posting content.
