Hilarious scenes were witnessed inside the Prime Minister’s official residence in Bangladesh’s capital city Dhaka, as protestors stormed onto the premises and ransacked the bungalow. On August 5, Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina resigned as protests and violence intensified across the country. Following her resignation, Hasina fled Bangladesh and arrived in India. Amidst the ensuing power vacuum and unrest, the Bangladesh Army has taken control. After Hasina’s departure, Army Chief General Waker Uz Zaman addressed the nation, announcing that the military would establish an interim government. He urged citizens to avoid further violence and assured them that their demands would be met.
