We are seeking a skilled backend engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of an application that helps electric vehicle drivers find charge stations. As a backend engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the server-side logic of the application. You will work closely with the frontend team to ensure seamless integration and excellent user experience.

  Responsibilities:
  – Design and implement scalable and secure RESTful APIs
  – Develop and maintain database structures and optimize queries
  – Collaborate with the frontend team to integrate APIs with the user interface
  – Ensure the application is highly performant, reliable, and scalable

  Requirements:
  – Strong proficiency in backend development using technologies like Node.js, Python, or Ruby
  – Experience with RESTful API design and development
  – Familiarity with database systems and ability to write efficient SQL queries
  – Knowledge of cloud technologies like AWS or Azure is a plus
  – Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

A file would be shared with you to start the project alongside the documentation for the OCPI protocol.

  This is a medium-sized project with an estimated duration of 3 to 6 months. We are looking for an experienced backend engineer with an intermediate level of expertise.
