We are seeking a Backend Developer with strong technical expertise to develop a custom Webflow app that will be featured on the Webflow App Marketplace. This app will enable users to integrate our cutting-edge AI-driven chatbot into their Webflow websites efficiently. The role involves creating a user-friendly app that facilitates data synchronization between Webflow sites and our servers, followed by an automated process to embed a unique chatbot code snippet. Your work will significantly enhance user interaction by enabling real-time, AI-driven communication capabilities on client websites.

Responsibilities:
– Develop a Webflow app (https://webflow.com/apps) that allows users to add the app to their website and initiate data scraping through a "sync" button.
– Handle the backend processing to scrape the website content, securely transferring and storing the data on our servers.
– Generate a unique code snippet for each user, which they can easily copy and paste into the `head` tag of their Webflow site to activate the chatbot.
– Ensure the app’s compatibility with Webflow’s standards for marketplace inclusion, focusing on security, efficiency, and user experience.
– Provide a seamless integration process for users, from installation to activation of the chatbot, enhancing the functionality and interactivity of their Webflow site.

Requirements:
– Extensive experience in backend development, particularly with APIs and server-side scripting in languages like Node.js or Python.
– Proficiency in developing applications for SaaS platforms, with a strong understanding of Webflow’s architecture and API (https://developers.webflow.com/).
– Demonstrated ability in managing data securely and efficiently, with experience in building scalable server solutions.
– Ability to design user-friendly interfaces for non-technical users to perform complex actions with ease.
– Prior experience creating apps for marketplace environments and understanding of the necessary compliance and best practices.
