Backend Developer
Backend programmers are responsible for developing services and providing access to
data required by frontend programmers. Writes business logic and retrieves data from
databases.
Job Responsibilities:
● Work with professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full
software development life cycle
● Translate product strategy and requirements into a maintainable and scalable
solution design
● Collaborate closely with the product team and other cross-functional teams
● Thorough understanding of Node.js and its core principles
● Demonstrated commitment to quality through continuous integration, code
reviews and testing

Requirements:
● proficiency in React, Node.JS and MongoDB
● 3+ years production experience with React, Node.js or related frameworks and technologies
● technical experience setting up Azure database & services
knowledgeable building and deploying with 3rd party apps & API (Stripe, Auth0, GetStream)
● Experience with continuous delivery and deployment on cloud platforms
● can identify and troubleshoot bugs and errors in the system
bonus criteria: familiar with ChatGPT and/or can create/ deploy bots backend

Hourly Range: $5.00-$8.00
