ONLOCK is a licensing platform that allows independent and student artists to automatically generate license agreements on their own terms. This application is currently in development (beta) and is in partnership with University of Toronto.

We are looking for a skilled back-end developer who is experienced with blockchain technology.

The ideal candidate should:
*  have a strong understanding of how blockchain works and how to build back-end services
* have expertise in back-end programming languages and databases for native mobile and browser applications
* be comfortable working on the back-end infrastructure of our system, implementing blockchain functionality, and ensuring the security and efficiency of development
*
* be available to participate in weekly meetings, stand-ups and check-ins
* be prepared to bring this beta application to public market and working with the rest of the departments to de-risk bringing it to market
* comfortable working with Jira, github and slack

Expectations:
* candidates should expect to work 10-12 hours a week on weekly meetings and development
* candidates are expected to attend a monthly department-wide meeting
* candidates are expected to collaborate with other engineering team members by providing updates or asking/answering questions
* candidates are expected to be comfortable working with a fully remote team. Reliable communication is important for the success of the team.
