Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Azure Application Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal
candidate should have extensive experience working with various Azure services and possess a strong
background in application development. As a Senior Azure Application Engineer, you will be responsible
for designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-based applications utilizing Azure services. You will
work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of projects while
adhering to best practices and industry standards.
1. Design, develop, and deploy cloud-based applications on the Azure platform.
2. Utilize Azure Cognitive Services for implementing AI-powered features into applications.
3. Develop serverless applications using Azure Functions, particularly leveraging Python
programming language.
4. Build and deploy static web applications and web applications on Azure.
5. Work with Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 (ADLS Gen2) for scalable data storage solutions.
6. Implement and manage Azure DevOps pipelines for continuous integration and continuous
deployment (CI/CD).
7. Utilize Azure SQL Server and Azure Cosmos DB for database management and optimization.
8. Implement monitoring solutions using Azure Application Insights to ensure high performance
and availability of applications.
9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, architects, and QA engineers to
deliver high-quality solutions.
10. Stay updated with the latest Azure technologies and industry trends to continuously improve
development processes and methodologies.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in application development with at least 3 years of hands-on
experience working with Azure services.
3. Proficiency in Azure Cognitive Services for implementing AI capabilities into applications.
4. Strong experience with Azure Functions, particularly using Python for serverless application
development.
5. Solid understanding of static web app and web app development on Azure.
6. Experience working with Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 (ADLS Gen2) for scalable data storage
solutions.
7. Proficiency in Azure DevOps for managing CI/CD pipelines.
8. Hands-on experience with Azure SQL Server and Azure Cosmos DB for database management.
9. Experience in implementing monitoring solutions using Azure Application Insights.
10. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
11. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team
environment.
12. Azure certifications such as Azure Developer Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Associate are
a plus.
