We are seeking an experienced AWS Developer to join our team for a long-term project focused on enterprise modernization and SQL query conversion. The ideal candidate will spend 70% of their time on an enterprise modernization project involving AWS services like Athena, Athena Iceberg, Step Functions, Lambda, and Glue. The remaining 30% of the time will be dedicated to working on Google Analytics SQL queries.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement solutions using AWS Athena and Step Functions.
Convert SQL queries from SQL Server stored procedures to Athena syntax.
Integrate converted SQL queries into Step Functions for daily execution.
Utilize pre-existing Lambda and Glue services within workflows.
Analyze and understand Google Analytics SQL queries.
Modify Google Analytics SQL queries based on updated table structures.
Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
Provide regular updates and documentation on project progress.
Requirements:

Proven experience with AWS services, particularly Athena, Athena Iceberg, Step Functions, Lambda, and Glue.
Strong proficiency in SQL and experience converting SQL queries between different platforms.
Familiarity with SQL Server and Google Analytics SQL.
Ability to work remotely with provided access tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
Confidence in AWS and SQL skills is a must.
