Job Description:

Integrity Investigations LLC is a leading private investigation firm specializing in deep background investigations for attorneys and private individuals. We are seeking a highly skilled Automation and AI Integration Specialist to streamline and automate our public records request and reporting processes. The ideal candidate will have experience with Python, PDF parsing, API integration, document automation, and workflow automation tools.

Responsibilities:

1. Automate Data Extraction from PDF Reports:
• Parse and extract data from TLO and IDI PDF reports using Python libraries or other suitable tools.
• Combine data from both reports, removing redundancies and ensuring completeness.
2. Streamline Public Records Requests:
• Automate the generation of public records requests using provided templates.
• Develop a system to send requests via email, web portals, phone calls, and mail as required.
• Implement tracking and follow-up mechanisms to ensure timely responses from public entities.
3. Data Management and Tracking:
• Set up a database to log and manage public records requests, track their status, and store received data.
• Implement automated reminders for follow-ups on pending requests.
4. Generate Comprehensive Reports:
• Compile data from various sources into a final background investigation report.
• Use document automation tools to create professional reports in Word or Google Docs format.
5. Workflow Optimization:
• Identify and implement additional automation opportunities within the background investigation process.
• Integrate AI tools like ChatGPT to assist with data extraction and report generation.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience with Python and PDF parsing libraries (e.g., PyMuPDF, pdfplumber, PyPDF2).
• Strong understanding of API integration (even though TLO does not provide an API, experience is valuable).
• Proficiency in document automation tools (e.g., docx, Google Docs API).
• Experience with workflow automation tools like Zapier or Selenium.
• Familiarity with database management (e.g., SQLite, Firebase).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in the private investigation industry or legal field.
• Familiarity with public records request processes.
• Knowledge of AI tools like ChatGPT for data extraction and report generation.

Project Duration:

• This is a project-based position with the potential for ongoing work as we continue to optimize and enhance our processes.
