The UAE says its air defence systems are again responding to incoming Iranian missile and drone threats, marking another escalation in Tehran’s attacks on Gulf states. Saudi Arabia also reported a fresh missile threat around Riyadh. According to Saudi officials cited in regional reporting, three ballistic missiles were detected near the capital, with one intercepted and the other two falling in an uninhabited area. The diplomatic fallout is also growing. Saudi Arabia has ordered Iran’s military attaché, his assistant and three embassy staff to leave the kingdom after declaring them persona non grata, saying continued Iranian attacks on Gulf territory could carry serious consequences for bilateral ties.
