Looking for someone to advise on App Store Guidelines and Best Practices when submitting an app for approval to Apple and Google. Here is the first question we are working on now but will need additional help successfully submitting and getting the app approved and published:

My team and I are developing a mobile app for the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

The app will be integrated with our website and our marketing strategy targets both teams (B2B) and individuals (B2C).

For teams, the sales funnel will primarily be through the website and more enterprise features will be available there such as integration with existing platforms – for example CRM or ERP.

So while it’s important that both teams and individuals have access to the mobile app, teams will primarily sign up through the website, and can register multiple users there to take advantage of enterprise features outside of the app that they pay a little more for.

However, we want to adhere to the app store guidelines for both Apple and Google.

What is the best practice for enabling B2B sign-up to a service that comes with access to an app?

Is it accepted practice for enterprise customers to pay for a subscription, that includes a mobile app, outside of the app store?

Our initial thinking was to enable sign-up for teams on the website, and make available subscription codes that business users can use to access the app.

For individuals, it would be strictly In-app purchase for the subscription to the app.

Would it be best to have 2 separate versions of the app: one for individuals that includes in-app subscription, and one for teams that is accessible via a subscription token generated externally?
