The consultant will be instrumental in enhancing our digital sales footprint by managing the integration between our wholesaler’s inventory and Gun Broker’s online platform.
Key Responsibilities:
• Obtain inventory spreadsheets from multiple gun wholesalers using FTP, HTTP and/or API calls.
• Utilize data normalization techniques to streamline data from various gun wholesalers for comprehensive analysis.
• Conduct a detailed comparative study between the normalized gun wholesalers inventory data and active listings on Gun Broker.
• Identify competitively priced items from wholesalers to be sold on Gun Broker based on the comparative analysis.
• Execute the posting of selected items on Gun Broker, ensuring accuracy and adherence to platform guidelines.
• Maintain the listings by updating quantity and pricing information bi-hourly to reflect current market trends and inventory levels.
• Perform weekly competitive analysis to refine the listing strategy, introducing new listings and adjusting existing ones as necessary.
• Use database knowledge to maintain an organized record of activities and inventory changes.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Proven experience and knowledge in API integration, preferably with online marketplaces or e-commerce platforms.
• Experience in the creation of application workflow development.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or experience with JSON for seamless data manipulation and integration tasks.
• Strong database development and management skills to efficiently handle and analyze large datasets.
• Familiarity with AWS Lambda or similar cloud services for automating workflows.
• Ability to conduct detailed market research and competitive analysis systematically.
• Excellent attention to detail for maintaining accurate listings and updates.
