Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi is using his PBS interview to shut the door on renewed talks with Washington and to frame Iran’s regional strikes and oil‑route disruption as legal self‑defence forced by U.S.–Israeli “aggression.” Araqchi says it is “too soon” for Iran’s new Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei to say anything, but adds he does not believe “talking with Americans or negotiation with Americans once again would be on the table” after a “very bitter experience” in past talks.
