We need an experienced Android developer who has consulted and built multiple play store applications.

Someone who is naturally great with Java ecosystem.  groovy, micronaut, and has kept up with kotlin. Understands how to properly setup and manage unit tests, lint, build, package, deploy over the air updates and in-app updates. Understands how to handle exceptions, used firebase crashlytics, used firebase app distribution or similar service to enable qa for staging +1 if you know how to do this per pull request (codespaces or similar), reduces code using aspect-oriented programming, is experienced with various e2e test frameworks for mobile apps,  can reduce coupling with polymorphism, and can model behavior using reactive paradigms.

Requirements:
* Independent Developer – strong with android studio or JetBrains tools.  They should be able to write great Java and Kotlin code and have production apps they can demo over a call and discuss naturally difficult problems they have overcome that are difficult for most mobile developers.

We have customers and are growing. We need you to stabilize the tablet-based app and improve the code health of the entire application.

Hourly Range: $15.00-$60.00
