Responsibilities:
Develop AI Engine: Build an AI engine that predicts health outcomes using machine learning models based on patient sociodemographic data.
Integration with Cerner: Ensure seamless integration of the software with Cerner’s EHR system.
User Interface Development: Create a user-friendly interface for healthcare providers to input patient data and receive predictions and care recommendations.
Data Security and Privacy: Implement robust security measures to ensure patient data is handled in compliance with all relevant regulations (HIPAA, PIPEDA, etc.).
Scalability: Design the system to be scalable, allowing future integration with other EHR systems such as EPIC.
Documentation: Provide comprehensive documentation and training materials for end-users.
Support and Maintenance: Offer ongoing support and maintenance post-deployment.
Requirements:
Proven Experience: Demonstrated experience in developing and deploying AI-driven healthcare applications.
EHR Integration: Strong experience integrating software solutions with EHR systems, preferably Cerner and EPIC.
Machine Learning Expertise: Proficiency in machine learning techniques and frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python, Java, or similar programming languages.
Data Security: Knowledge of data security and privacy best practices in healthcare.
Project Management: Ability to manage the project lifecycle from inception to deployment, including timelines and deliverables.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills for collaborating with healthcare providers and stakeholders.
