Project Description:

Merit M&A is a start up company building a revolutionary platform that streamlines business transitions through AI-powered matching. We are seeking a talented and experienced AI developer to join our team and play a key role in developing the core technology behind our platform.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with data scientists and business analysts to understand the M&A landscape and user needs.
Design and develop a robust AI model for matching businesses based on various financial, operational, and strategic factors.
Select and implement appropriate machine learning or deep learning techniques for the matching task.
Train and optimize the AI model using large datasets of historical M&A transactions and business information.
Integrate the AI model with our existing platform architecture to ensure seamless functionality.
Continuously evaluate and improve the model’s performance through testing and refinement.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in AI for M&A and related fields.
Work collaboratively with the development team to ensure efficient integration and deployment of the AI model.
Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field (or demonstrably equivalent experience).
Proven experience in developing and deploying machine learning or deep learning models.
Familiarity with popular machine learning libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
Strong understanding of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques.
Experience working with real-world datasets and addressing data quality issues.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Bonus Points:

Experience with AI applications in finance or business domains.
Knowledge of explainable AI (XAI) techniques.
Experience working in an Agile development environment.
Familiarity with cloud-based AI platforms (e.g., AWS SageMaker, Google AI Platform).
