U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin said he had no information to provide following reports from Iran’s paramilitary Revolutionary Guard that Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh was assassinated in Tehran. Haniyeh was in Tehran to attend Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian’s swearing-in ceremony on Tuesday.
