Are you a passionate, enthusiastic and skilled Unity software developer with a desire to contribute to a meaningful mission? Look no further!! We are an early-stage startup driven by the mission to help people lead more active lives through easy and fun physical movements throughout their busy days. While needing to navigate our immensely tight budget, we’re trying to get our initial MVP app released. For this, we seek an exceptional Unity Tech Lead to join us in this mission. Your role will be pivotal in steering our project toward success while staying mindful of our budget constraints.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
*************************************
– Lead the development of core backend components – e.g., user account management, reliable data streaming and management, telemetry, monetization, and in-app purchases.

– Serve as a mentor and guide to our team of junior developers, fostering a culture of growth and collaboration.

– Uphold the highest standards of code quality by meticulously reviewing pull requests and providing constructive feedback.

– Work closely with our team to strategize and prioritize tasks, ensuring that we make the most of our limited resources.

– Be hands-on if required: While your primary focus will be on streamlining our development process & managing people, you may be required to also write code yourself if this is more cost-efficient than deferring to junior devs.

REQUIREMENTS

– Proven track record in developing and deploying Unity applications for iOS, Android, and potentially WebGL platforms.

– Ability to help the team to set up and deploy apps for both iOS and Android environments.

– Demonstrated leadership skills from previous roles, with a track record of effectively managing development teams and projects.

– A deep-seeded passion for our mission and a genuine commitment to delivering a top-notch product to our customers.

– Strong communication skills, fluent in English, with an emphasis on proactive and concise communication.

– A proactive problem solver with a resilient attitude and a dedication to achieving excellence in every aspect of our project while staying scrappy and balancing our tight budget.
