A commercial and domestic ceramic business is looking for a web development agency with experience in UX and website development support.

Responsibilities:

– Collaboratively plan and build a new website with a focus on user experience and optimal functionality.
– Recommend and discuss appropriate content management system (CMS) options, taking into account the need for easy site management and future scalability.
– Work closely with the founder and team to understand the company’s vision and goals for the website.
– Develop a strategic website development process, ensuring that response time to any request or feedback should not exceed one day.
– Design and develop responsive web pages, ensuring an intuitive and seamless user experience across multiple devices and screen sizes.
– Implement the required features and functionality as outlined in the provided Terms of Reference (ToR).
– Provide support and guidance on website usability best practices, ensuring that the website meets industry standards and increases user engagement.

– Implement the required features including the following pages:
– Home page: Introduce the company, highlight services, showcase portfolio/case studies, showcase testimonials, and provide a clear call to action.
– Commercial carpentry page: Showcase past projects in the commercial category, emphasizing reliability and commitment to excellence.
– Residential carpentry page: Showcase past projects in the residential carpentry category, emphasizing professionalism and experience.
– Fire Doors page: Include subpages for Fire Doors, Fire Doors Installation, and Fire Doors Maintenance, emphasizing the company’s commitment to safety and compliance.
– About Us page: Provide information about the company’s history, its team, and the founder’s firm but friendly and down-to-earth approach.
– Contact page: Contains the necessary information and a form for direct communication with users.

Requirements:

– Proven experience as a web development agency, with a strong portfolio showing past website projects that demonstrate expertise in user experience and functionality.
– Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and other relevant web technologies.
– Knowledge of various CMS options and ability to recommend the most appropriate one based on the requirements set out in the technical specification.
– Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with the team, ensure alignment with project goals and adhere to project milestones.
– Ability to develop and propose a website delivery process, including a maximum one-day response time to any query or feedback.
– Attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality work within agreed deadlines.
– Ability to work independently, taking ownership of the project, while seeking help and feedback from the team as needed.
