As a Quality Assurance Automation Tester, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You’ll work closely with our development team to understand project requirements, develop test plans, and execute comprehensive test cases. Your attention to detail and ability to identify and report bugs effectively will be essential in maintaining our commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities:

– Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements and timelines
– Develop and execute test plans and test cases to ensure the functionality, usability, and performance of software products
– Identify, document, and track software defects, ensuring timely resolution
– Conduct regression testing to ensure fixes and enhancements do not adversely impact existing functionality
– Communicate effectively with team members to provide status updates and escalate critical issues as needed
– Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes and methodologies

Requirements:

– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
– Proven experience in software quality assurance testing, including manual and automated testing techniques
– Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies
– Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
– Experience with testing tools and technologies, such as Selenium, JIRA, or similar
– Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
– Detail-oriented with a passion for ensuring the highest standards of quality

Preferred Qualifications:

– Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
– Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB Certified Tester)
– Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
– Proficient in Selenium Webdriver with Javascript
– Expert on CI integration with automation framework
– Knowledge of Device farms
