We are looking for a skilled freelancer to assist with an academic study focused on programming an audio codec MVP/Prototype for real-time streaming of human speech. The study aims to optimize audio compression and decompression algorithms to ensure high-quality speech transmission in real-time of female voices. The freelancer will be responsible for developing and implementing efficient coding techniques and protocols for the audio codec. Key requirements for this project include knowledge and experience in audio coding, real-time streaming protocols, and strong programming skills. The successful candidate should be able to work independently and possess excellent problem-solving abilities. As this is a student project, there is clearly a limited budget, but the prototype doesn’t have to be perfect.
