We need to hire a part time Shopify developer or agency to assist us with occasional Shopify tasks..  The job entails basic theme edits, app integrations and content implementation. Skills at Speed Optimization are a plus.

Please read the requirements below very carefully, and if you can not meet all of the requirements, then please do not reply.

I am respectful, team-oriented, and I pay bonuses for good work over the long term. Most of my freelancers have been with me for years and we are a solid team. I am looking for someone who has the above skills and wants a solid long term relationship.

Requirements:
1. Experienced Shopify developer
2. Fluent in English. (If I can’t easily understand what you are saying, it won’t work).
3. Be generous with communication. Use screenshots & record Loom videos to make sure that things are understood clearly, the first time, so as to not waste time.  (If I have to ask for clarification or ask you to repeat yourself, it won’t work).  When you make a screenshot, include the browser’s address bar so we can see the URL.
4. Follow orders exactly and completely. Respond to all numbered lists of questions in a numbered list of responses for thoroughness and accuracy.
5. Work in our Shopify Partner account, Slack channels and JIRA project management software to receive and discuss tasks.  Give cell phone number & email address in case there is an emergency. These will only be used in the case of an emergency. Check & respond to all Slack and JIRA messages promptly, but never in more than 12 hours, unless it’s the weekend, holiday, or you are on vacation. Put your first name as your profile name and a clear headshot of your face in your profile photo in Slack and JIRA.
6. Able to meet by video call (Google Meet) occasionally between 9pm to 11pm IST, use a good headset/mic for clear audio, show up to meetings on time and not have connection, audio or video problems.
7. Use the upwork time tracker for all work and note in each time segment the JIRA task number you were working on.  
8. White label your work.  Do not use your brand name, logo or brand email in any code or filename.
9. If we assign you tasks for any of our clients, you will not contact the client directly nor attempt to take them as your own direct client. Keep all of our and our clients’ work and assets completely safe, secured & confidential.

Hourly Range: $10.00-$20.00
