We are ONE Facilities Management located in Kuwait City, Kuwait. We are a company that is looking to leverage technology to improve our operational efficiency and improve the work experience for our staff. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced UI/UX designer and developer to work as a freelancer and assist in bringing our application design to life.
2. Project Overview
Our current application features a user-friendly and visually appealing design created using Material Design 3 and designed in FIGMA. We require a designer and developer who can do minimal updates to the design using the Material Design 3 framework in Figma and seamlessly translate this design into a fully functional and interactive mobile application using Ionic/Vue.js3 frameworks.
3. Scope of Work
Design Review and Update:
Collaborate closely with our team to review and iterate on the front-end design, incorporating feedback and addressing any technical challenges. Must use the Material Design 3 framework to design the required minimal updates.
The Application’s UI is in Arabic and English languages. The current application has 25 screens in English and 25 screens in Arabic.
Apply minor fixes and modifications to the existing FIGMA design upon approval from our team. Must show the prototype from start to end with all pop-up and error messages.
Front-End Development:
Convert the provided FIGMA designs into high-quality, production-ready Ionic/Vue.js code.
Develop the application’s front-end functionality, ensuring it accurately reflects the interactions and visual elements of the FIGMA design.
Implement responsive design principles to ensure optimal viewing and interaction across various screen sizes and devices.
Follow the file coding structure defined in the ONEFM IONIC Github repository.
4. Requirements
Material Design Expertise: Demonstrate proficiency in applying Material Design principles to create a consistent and intuitive user experience.
Figma Expertise: Able to demonstrate full understanding of Figma functionality and is able to produce changes quickly.
Vue.js3 Experience: Possess strong expertise in Vue.js3 development, including component-based architecture, state management, and routing.
Portfolio showcasing previous projects with similar complexity and design quality.
Code Quality and Maintainability: Write clean, readable, and well-documented code following established Ionic/Vue.js coding standards and best practices.
Linting and Code Standards: Integrate linting tools and adhere to strict coding standards to ensure code quality and maintainability.
5. Deliverables
Full design using Material Design 3 and Figma.
Fully functional and responsive mobile application built using Ionic/Vue.js framework.
Clean, well-documented, and maintainable codebase.
Unit and integration tests for code coverage.
Deployment-ready application package.
6. Selection Criteria
Demonstrated ability to accurately translate FIGMA designs into high-fidelity code using Ionic/Vue.js frameworks..
Strong understanding and application of Material Design principles.
Expertise in Vue.js3 development, including component-based architecture, state management, and routing.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
7. Timeline
Proposal submission deadline: March 7th, 2024.
Project start date: Negotiable.
