Fast growing young company in the FinTech sector. Looking for Sr QA Analyst to join our product development team.

You will define extensive test cases and perform functional testing on all features to be deployed within our product. You will also seek out and test edge cases and exceptional scenarios.  You will assist with implementing and maintaining a test automation framework with the goal of increasing our overall regression test coverage across the product. Ultimately, your work will have direct impact on the stability and user experience of our products.

    • Perform functional testing on features to be deployed to our live product
    • Perform regression testing on primary workflows to ensure feature changes do not impact current functionality
    • Assist product management in defining functional use cases and test scenarios to match, including edge cases
    • Create sample data to use for testing various use cases
    • Assist with developing sprint velocity metrics to improve speed of delivery of critical features. This includes:
        ◦ Bug / defect tracking
        ◦ Sprint cycle time
        ◦ Developer workload
    • Consistently measure and improve functional test coverage across all functional workflows.
    • Document test procedures to ensure repeatability
    • Develop or specify standards, methods, or procedures to determine product quality or release readiness.
    • Contribute to coordination, prioritization and sequencing of testing multiple features in a very busy sprint
    • Must have technical proficiency in these areas:
        ◦ Git commands – checkout, pull, merge, commit, push
        ◦ Write SQL queries to interact with relational databases
        ◦ Read and understand application logs
        ◦ Shell or python scripting is a huge plus
    • Experience supporting our technical stack:
        ◦ Node.js
        ◦ React
        ◦ Postgres
        ◦ AWS S3
    • Experience with QA automation tools.  Direct experience with Katalon or Selenium is required.
    • Bring new ideas to the table to help us improve our agile development workflow
