We are seeking an exceptional IREG Roaming Testing Engineer with a deep understanding of International Roaming (IREG) protocols, procedures, and testing methodologies, coupled with expertise in 5G, VoLTE, SMPP, LTE, and other relevant technologies. As a crucial member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the flawless performance of roaming services across diverse network environments and geographic regions.

Responsibilities:

Develop comprehensive test strategies and methodologies for IREG roaming, encompassing aspects such as IREG resolution, Handover, GSM/UMTS/LTE interworking, and MAP/CAMEL signaling.
Design and execute intricate test scenarios to validate roaming configurations, subscriber authentication, call routing, and billing processes.
Utilize advanced testing tools and protocols to capture, analyze, and interpret signaling messages, including MAP, CAMEL, CAP, and Diameter, to assess roaming functionality and compliance.
Conduct extensive end-to-end testing of roaming scenarios, including inbound and outbound roaming, ensuring seamless service delivery and quality of experience (QoE) for subscribers.
Collaborate closely with network operators, roaming partners, and regulatory bodies to facilitate interconnection testing and resolve interoperability issues effectively.
Continuously evaluate and enhance testing frameworks, scripts, and automation tools to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency.
Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams and external stakeholders on IREG-related matters, including troubleshooting complex roaming issues and implementing best practices.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with a strong focus on mobile networks and protocols.
Extensive hands-on experience in IREG roaming testing, with a proven track record of success in identifying and resolving complex roaming-related issues.
Profound knowledge of IREG protocols and procedures, including IREG 41, IREG 53, and IREG 73, along with expertise in related standards such as GSMA PRDs.
Advanced proficiency in using testing tools and platforms, including Wireshark, SIGOS ROAMS, Anritsu, and Spirent, for protocol analysis and simulation.
Excellent understanding of 5G, VoLTE, SMPP, LTE, and IMS technologies, with hands-on experience in testing and troubleshooting these technologies in a roaming context.
Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to dissect complex signaling flows and trace root causes of roaming issues across multiple network elements and interfaces.
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the aptitude to interact effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders across organizational boundaries.
