I would like to receive:
– detailled electronic engineering review of my PCB (optional)
– integration and development of QMK for this keyboard (mandatory)
and most importantly, i want a special feature in my new keyboard.
I’ve found this 4 year old code: https://github.com/MWWorks/mw_calc_numpad
I want to have this feature in my new keyboard. The numpad needs to be able to turn into a calculator. The keyboard will have a display for this purpose.
The owner of that repository advised me, that the code currently does not function with the latest version of QMK, so it would need updating. Also the owner of that repository developed that for a small stand-alone macropad, not a full size iso-layout keyboard.
The owner furthermore advised me that this calculator currently does not differentiate between integers and floats – so 2-1=1,000000001 . That would need to be fixed too.
It would be important to me, that this work stays open source, so a part of the development effort would need to be to properly document and comment the code and prepare a high quality pull request for upstream QMK repository.
I have attached two images of the keyboard layout i want. I am in the process of designing the PCB. The attached screenshots are not to be evaluated, consider them drafts or idea-sketches, they are not a proper final production data.
