adminI need a custom WordPress plugin designed to meticulously comb through every single post title on my site, which spans across 3 distinct custom post types. The goal? To identify instances where a post’s title appears in the content of another post and to forge a seamless internal link back to the original post. This link will not only connect related content but also bear the title of the linked post as its anchor text.
The plugin must be sharp enough to only link complete words—no partial matches, please—and steer clear of anything that includes numbers. Additionally, there are a few more exclusions and rules we’ll need to hash out together to ensure everything runs smoothly.
To keep our internal linking to a limit, I want a cap created where only one link per post points back to any given title, with a maximum of five internal links created per page. And if there’s already a link, we don’t need another.
I’ve been brainstorming and sketching out ideas with a little help from chatGPT, and now I’m ready for someone with the technical skills to help refine these ideas and turn them into a working reality.
There are plugins on the market, but they are not what I need in this case nor do they function very well.
