Need Developer for creating modern phone app for IOS and Android devices.
The app must facilitate seamless connection with ESP32 based device (BT+WiFi) as well as with our server through Carrier data or WiFi.

MUST HAVE- Establishing fast and reliable BT and WiFi connection between phone and ESP32; Automatic switching of WiFi Modes, HotSpot control and setting SSID/passwords.
– Data file transfers between server and ESP32. We’re looking for fast reliable transfers of files 1.5-8mb in size.
– By-directional communications between Phone and ESP32 for issuing commands and displaying real time data on screen (fast refresh, no hangups)
– Phone-Server interface using APIs
– Phone camera integration in app for scanning QR codes

Experience in following areas is a bonus:
– Over the air firmware updates
– Certificate updates
– ESP32 embedded web server
– Data transfer using JSONs
– Embedded software/firmware development
– CAN-BUS communications

Other info:
The device hardware design is complete/prototypes available. Functional code developed, currently using web server for interface.
The phone app will need to provide a new interface with a more modern look and feel, more convenient to use to end user while keeping the existing web-server as a backup.
Will need to work closely and communicate ideas and progress status on a daily basis with the rest of our team.
