Seeking a Java Developer to transition a SaaS application from Hibernate to JOOQ. You’ll be creating a Git branch to convert specific screens and scheduled job classes, working with us to ensure the app maintains full functionality post-conversion. We’re targeting 1-4 conversions weekly and estimate over 300 hours for the entire project.

Responsibilities:

Migrate parts of the application from Hibernate 6.4 to JOOQ.
Collaborate on code reviews and testing to validate conversions.
Continuously push code to Git for version control and collaborative work.

Requirements:

Strong proficiency in Java and SQL, with a willingness to learn JOOQ (if not already familiar).
Experience with Hibernate is a plus, especially if you understand its drawbacks.
Ability to quickly pick up Vaadin for web UI generation (if not already familiar).
Proactive and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
