We are looking for an experienced Shopify Developer to customize our product pages by integrating line item properties.

Our goal is to offer our customers the option to add optional accessories to their cart without the need to create additional product variants.

This project requires modifications to our Shopify theme, including adding custom input fields for accessory options and ensuring these selections are properly reflected in the cart and checkout process.

RESPONSIBILITIES

— Review our current Shopify theme and product offerings to understand the scope of customization required.

— Implement custom HTML, CSS, and Liquid code to add buttons and input fields on product pages for optional accessories.

— Ensure that selected accessory options are passed as line item properties and are accurately displayed in the shopping cart, checkout process, and admin order view.

— Modify the cart template to include the display of selected accessory options along with the main product.

— Conduct thorough testing across various browsers and devices to ensure compatibility and responsiveness.

— Provide documentation on the changes made for future reference and maintenance.

REQUIREMENTS

— Proven experience in Shopify theme development and customization, with a strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid.

— Previous experience with implementing line item properties on Shopify product pages.

— Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

— Portfolio of previous Shopify projects that includes custom functionality similar to what we’re seeking.

PROJECT DELIVERABLES

— Customized product pages that allow customers to select optional accessories.

— Updated cart page to display selected accessories.

— Documentation detailing the changes made and instructions for future updates or maintenance.
