What you’ll be helping to build is a document statistical analysis SaaS product. The first product version was built in standalone WinForms for use in SCIFs (Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility) which you probably have seen in military movies. Now this needs to move to a multi-tenanted SaaS project on Blazor with perhaps a bit of .NET Core as well.
I will handle the DB, backend, statistical functions, overall design, and page design. You will need to build Blazor .cshtml pages to specifications using Dapper (NOT EF!) to connect the pages to a backend SQL Server and MySQL DBs. We will be using a Blazor component library…I’ve started using DevExpress Blazor but am open to considering Mud Blazor, Radzen Blazor components, etc. Not using Synfusion as their UX is just not very attractive and their commercial license costs are excessive. DevExpress has the best attractive UX and highly functional components. I will provide a DevExpress if/as needed.
You get to make constructive inputs and suggestions which I will listen to. I will provide a GitHub repo, UX design, and a starting framework. Initial pages to deliver include a Login page with extra linked icons, a Report page consisting of some general and specialized grids and charts with PDF export, printing, sorting, etc. The grid we select MUST be able to do a rather complex dual horizontal bar graph in grid display. More on that later.
You need prior intermediate experience with Blazor which I’d like to see some representative samples. Coding complexity needs to be intermediate – No EF, No LINQ, No Layers, No unnecessary complexity as is typical of Microsoft projects. No Guru Syndrome. You need to have a good Internet connection for weekly video calls and a good command of the English language with minimal accent as I am hard of hearing and thick accents make it worse. Note that video calls are a must. As is explaining the code regularly…And I would like some basic dev documentation as you go. Video recordings are acceptable for this.
Note that this is not your typical website projects as we are building a SaaS application here and I am not your typical project manager or developer either. I am a no BS type of guy and will not put up with games. You must be honest and truthful with me at all times no matter what your social society and conditioning says about that. Be honest, be good, be competent, be timely and we’ll get along fine.
Expect this to be a 3+ month project for initial development then some maintenance. Additional projects are possible in the future.
Tell me about what you’ve done with Blazor especially with SaaS.
I want to hire a good Blazor developer and get started within the next 1 to 1.5 weeks. A video interview with me is mandatory. I can be flexible on the time of day.
Feel free to ask questions. More info will be provided as we go.
Thanks,
– Grant
