We’re looking for a skilled and adaptable Full-Stack Developer to join our team as a freelancer and continue the development of our Point of Sale (POS) system. This system employs PyQt for the frontend, Firebase for authentication, and SQLite with SQLAlchemy and Alembic for database management. While the user interfaces are in place, we require a talented developer to shape both the backend and create additional interfaces, taking the system to its first version.

Responsibilities:

– Enhance the product management system to allow for variability and generality in product listings.
– Develop and improve features for order management, tracking, and processing.
– Optimize customer information storage and retrieval functions.
– Integrate our loyalty and reward program into the POS system.
– Create new interfaces such as "Edit Customer" and other required additions.
– Improve the existing auto-scan and auto-add-to-cart functionality.
– Collaborate with our team to ensure a seamless user experience.

Requirements:

– Proficiency in Python development.
– Experience with PyQt for the frontend.
– Strong knowledge of SQLite and SQLAlchemy for database management.
– Familiarity with Alembic for database migrations.
– Previous experience with Point of Sale systems is a plus.
– Knowledge of Firebase authentication is a bonus.
– Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
