I explain what this means in detail in the attached documents.
But basically, home service businesses sign up for our club– giving us their city and service (Denver + plumber, for example) and we match them with others in that city or in that vertical, so they can guest blog on each others’ wordpress sites.
To avoid this being a link network or anything that would get us in trouble with Google, we’re requiring that members meet some basic criteria to be able to apply– been in business at least 3 years, doing at least $50K in revenue, have at least 100 reviews on their main GMB at 4 stars or above, and so forth.
And the bigger they are (based on their traffic we see in Google Analytics and their SEO stats, which we have been gathering in our dashboard by cobbling together data from a few APIs), we make sure it’s fair– that someone who is small must do a lot more to be able to guest blog on a larger site.
These are all wordpress sites, so blogging is self-explanatory. We want to run submissions through ChatGPT to ensure it meets EEAT criteria (real stories and experiences, not just AI-generated stuff) and have a level of human review.
I want to do this in stages of course.
I’m okay with any framework you like as long as it’s not ASP.net and we can run a micro-services architecture. Of course, the programmer is more important than the tool. I’m a big fan of perl and PHP, but I don’t code anymore.
I’m looking for an individual here who is organized and can work in a team without needing babysitting or waterfall-type development (where we have to provide tech specs to you as part of a giant bureaucracy. You must understand the strategy, which is more important than your technical skills, since AI tools and integration with what we already have is so key. We do a lot of rapid prototyping. To test your attention to detail, in your subject line, mention the color M&Ms that Bon Jovi placed in their contracts. We use basecamp for project management, having meetings only as necessary.
There are other components to integrate here in a micro-services architecture (mainly the dashboard for data, the two-sided marketplace to allocate the jobs, and the learning management system). We have built the initial dashboard, use SPP for our services marketplace for now. and LearnDash/BuddyBoss/Memberium for the LMS.
This blogging network run on the geo-vertical grid has components in the dashboard (since they have to qualify to join the network) and the marketplace (which allocates blogging tasks).
We have VAs who can repurpose content created by the business owner or about the business owner (like podcasts they’re on or reviews we collect) to run through ChatGPT to generate blog posts (not synthetic, but like a human editor to improve).
Consider how we can push these into the WordPress sites that we get access to as part of the onboarding.
Give me a plan in stages (milestones) that we can together refine into further stages.
No agencies– I want to work with a sharp programmer who understand the business logic here.
Don’t just paste in a bunch of sites you built for me to sift through– show me understanding of what I’ve said.
I don’t get on calls to interview candidates– since written communication is what matters here.
