**Job Description:**
We are seeking a talented and creative Freelance Web Designer to join our team and help develop a new website, which serves as a platform similar to Petfinder.com.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal welfare and a strong background in web design and development.

**Responsibilities:**
– Collaborate with our team to understand project requirements and goals
– Design and implement user-friendly, visually appealing website layouts and features
– Optimize website performance and user experience
– Ensure compatibility across various browsers and devices
– Incorporate feedback from stakeholders to iterate and improve website design
– Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in web design and development

**Requirements:**
– Proven experience as a web designer, with a portfolio showcasing previous work
– Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant web design technologies
– Experience with responsive design principles and frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap)
– Strong understanding of UX/UI design principles
– Excellent communication and collaboration skills
– Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
– Passion for animal welfare and a commitment to our organization’s mission

**Preferred Qualifications:**
– Experience with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Joomla)
– Knowledge of SEO best practices
– Graphic design skills and experience with Adobe Creative Suite
– Familiarity with nonprofit organizations and/or animal adoption websites
