Russia and Ukraine traded fresh accusations over ceasefire violations as Moscow claimed Ukrainian attacks killed at least 25 civilians and wounded more than 200 people during a fragile truce period. Russian officials said Belgorod, Bryansk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia suffered heavy casualties, while drone strikes reportedly accounted for most civilian losses. Ukraine, however, accused Russia of ending a partial “silence” by launching over 200 drones and more than 80 aerial bombs overnight. Kyiv, Dnipro, Kharkiv and other cities reportedly faced fresh strikes as both sides exchanged blame, further undermining hopes for de-escalation in the ongoing war.
