Job Description:
We are on the lookout for an exceptional Full Stack Developer with specialized expertise in AI Cloud Services (AWS/Azure), Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Optical Character Recognition (OCR) to lead the development of a pilot project to create a cloud-based web platform (moodboard attached). This platform is aimed for document automation by intelligently processing e.g. imported PDF data sheets, extracting crucial information, and exporting it to predefined Excel files (e.g. update prices from a pdf. price list into a excel sheet, example attached). The ideal candidate will spearhead the project from conception to deployment, ensuring robust functionality on a secure domain with login features. Additionally, maintaining and managing the project’s codebase on GitHub will be a critical responsibility. The platform starts with one pilot automation but aims to automate several tasks in the mid/later stage so it needs to be able to add more tasks like an app store. Also it needs to be managed on subdomains to make it accessable in different variations and logins for different companies with different automation tasks in the end.
Key Responsibilities:
Architect and develop a cloud-based web platform utilizing AWS/Azure for intelligent document automation, incorporating NLP and OCR technologies for advanced data extraction and processing.
Design import functionality for PDF documents, leveraging OCR and NLP to accurately extract and analyze text data, followed by exporting the information to Excel files according to specified templates.
Establish a secure, user-friendly web domain with login capabilities to ensure data privacy and authorized access.
Engage with the project team in defining project deliverables, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
Actively manage and update the project codebase on GitHub, employing best practices for version control, code review, and continuous integration.
Conduct regular jour fixe meetings (video calls) to discuss project updates, tackle challenges, and strategize on forthcoming tasks.
Skills and Qualifications:
Demonstrable experience as a Full Stack Developer, with a robust portfolio that includes cloud-based web applications leveraging NLP and OCR technologies.
In-depth knowledge of cloud services (AWS or Azure), with expertise in setting up cloud infrastructure, services, and implementing security measures.
Proficiency in Python, especially with experience in NLP and OCR libraries (such as NLTK, spaCy, Tesseract) for document processing and data extraction.
Solid foundation in web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), with the ability to create secure, login-based web platforms.
Experience with GitHub for version control, showcasing familiarity with collaborative coding practices.
Exceptional problem-solving abilities, capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in English and comfortability in leading video calls and project discussions.
